Liquid Insight is a unique player in their own category, a one-of-a-kind scale which uses proprietary software to understand the amount of liquid remaining in a given keg. Our client had the idea, software, and physical product - but no cohesive identity or direction. That's where we came in.
A competitor audit was initially conducted, researching opportunities for a brand expression and identity to be ownable. The audit revealed little competition in the filed, and nothing direct, thus providing a moment to create a distinctive brand for both the present and future.
I developed a style guide to further evolve the brand fundamentals and guidelines. Not only was this focus around the brand in general, but understanding our digital platform reach is much more monumental than any print, we focused primarily on how our brand identity guide would effect our landing page and product assets. Developing a system which understood the intricacies of user interface.
To demonstrate the technical ability these sensors can provide any given chill room, we needed to recreate the scene ourselves. I was able to use topographic style illustrations to best demonstrate how the scales work, and how they are able to communicate data in real-time.
Through identifying key user behaviors and understanding their journey, we developed a website based on the intended flow to allow primarily new clients to better digest the capabilities of this new product. From there, we've been in the process of redesigning their proprietary software, the backbone of this company. With a newly polished brand, there was a need to rethink both the user interface and experience, and how it worked in harmony with the master brand. A sneak peak below!
